Whenever a couple books their wedding package with me, I already know some of the shots that I absolutely must get! Whilst each wedding – and each couple - is unique, there are some tried and tested shots that I just know will work every single time.
If you’re wondering what to expect from me on your wedding day, here’s a little look at four of my favourite wedding photographs…
The dip!
Maybe it’s the old school romantic in me, but one of my favourite photos is ‘the dip’. I particularly love to capture one of these during the pre-wedding shoot, and then again during the wedding day. That way, you can display these in your home side by side as a beautiful ‘before’ and ‘after’!
Confetti shot
The confetti shot – it’s a classic! It’s always one of my favourite shots as it’s right after the ceremony. Everyone is high off the love in the room, full of smiles and the bride and groom are simply glowing. The happiness just radiates through the lens!
The veil shot
Out of the four of my favourite wedding photos, this is possibly my ultimate favourite. The veil shot is my go to every time! I am all about veils. When I’m not wearing them myself (if you know, you know), I’m using them to create the most beautiful photographs. If your veil is long enough, you can guarantee I’m going to drape it over you, wrap it around you, throw it to the wind… and create some absolutely stunning, intimate photographs for you!
Champagne Tower
I can’t guarantee there’ll be a champagne tower at every wedding I shoot, what I can guarantee is that if there is, I’m going to capture the best photos of you with it! I love the silly giggles it brings out between the bride and the groom as they try to pour the champagne in the right way…and hey, even if it all goes wrong, it’s still a memorable moment! It’s a lovely bit of fun that I love to capture.
