A summer wedding - Jess & Tom

I still don’t think I’m quite over this wedding.

I met Jess and Tom for their pre-wedding shoot in April at their beautiful family home, complete with their pooch Winnie and their gorgeous horses, who were definitely stars of the show when it came to the speeches. To say we 'clicked' would be an understatement, so my excitement for their big day was through the roof!

Firstly let’s talk about Bourton Hall... a to-die-for Warwickshire wedding venue, nestled in the Heart of Shakespeare Country surrounded by twelve acres of gardens, woodland & parkland. The grounds of the 18th Century Italian Renaissance-style Country Mansion are the perfect spot for a photographer and videographer, as I was working alongside the fab Jo from JWM Productions. From perfectly kempt rose gardens, water features, views across the county to the pretty grand staircase.

Jess began her morning in the bridal suite of dreams (aka the beautiful Lady Bourton Honeymoon Suite), check out the ornate mirror accompanied by a perfectly placed dress hook. The suite even had a dressing room so there was plenty of room for her VIP's - her Mum, Mother-in-Law to-be and two bridesmaids, plus a dream team of hair and makeup!

Jess was a vision in her figure hugging Rish Bridal gown from Ellie Sanderson, complete with heavenly heels by my ultimate fav - Charlotte Mills. Did you know that each pair has Silver Sixpence inside... To say the overall look was show-stopping, would be the understatement of the Century!! Jess was complimented by her maids who wore beautiful satin, sage green dresses. A winning combination (IMO).

The happy couple were wed in the idyllic setting of a stunning former-Catholic chapel, bathed in natural light boasting ornate carved wood and gold leaf ceiling. And to top it off, Jess walked down the aisle to the voice of one of their wonderful guests. A truly magical moment. You can see from the photos just how happy and relaxed J&T were.

The Rugby venue has everything a bride and groom could ever need. Full of character, history and photo backdrops, I was one very happy photographer. What made this particular wedding even more special was every element was styled by the Groom's Sister - Laura from Details Event Styling. I think you'll agree Laura's touches enhanced the natural beauty of the venue and provided the perfect stage for that awe-inspiring macaron wedding cake!! Jess & Tom went above and beyond for their littlest guests too, as they provided an entire room dedicated to the kids - complete with a projector and tipis! The evening came to a close with some seriously fun tunes from the utterly fabulous Sax Niki!

I particularly loved that Jess & Tom proudly displayed framed photos from their pre-wedding shoot they had with me just a few weeks prior. Pre-wed shoots are included in all my wedding packages, and provide the perfect opportunity for me to get to know you before I spend your entire wedding following you around with my camera! (Not creepy at all, promise)!
