Caswell House located in Brize Norton in the Cotswolds, has been one of my ‘bucket list’ venues for a long time, so when I was chosen to be a part of Francesca & Anthony’s day there, I was over the moon (more so than usual).
There is nothing I love more than Cotswold stone, open barns and a venue that has endless possibilities.
F&A opted for a second shooter for their big day, allowing them to have both bride and groom prep covered (which by the way, when looking through your final wedding gallery, it is so nice to see what the other one was up to in the morning!). Francesca was a vision in her Essense of Australia dress from one of my favourite bridal stores, Pure Couture. The bridesmaids stunned in light pink dresses and matching florals.
The boys opted for dark blue suits with Anthony being in a dapper light stone coloured suit.
Surrounded by the best girl and guy friends, the looming presence of rain was no dampener! Due to the forecast, and everyone being ready early (yes you read that right, early) the call was made to bring the ceremony forward 30 minutes, so they could get married outside without the rain interfering.
It was a beautiful ceremony, with Francesca’s own Auntie being the registrar. Sealed with a kiss, as the newlyweds walked back up the aisle, the rain appeared but that didn’t stop us getting some epic confetti shots!
Group shots done, saxophone player in full swing, it was time to steal away F&A for their couple shots. The private gardens at Caswell are so beautiful, with the added touches of the soft pink flowers, the gorgeous ivy growing in all it’s glory up the house and little corners that make a photographer’s heart sing. The best thing, is guests aren’t allowed access to this area, so it’s just so lovely to have your couple photos done without 100 pair of eyes on you.
Emotional words were spoken during speeches, Ross & Ross Catering provided a meat spread to die for, and it was time for *drum roll* A DRESS CHANGE! Everyone knows that I loooove an evening outfit, and Francesca opted for a beautiful chic, elegant Mikaella Bridal dress from another one of my favourite dress stores - Brides of Berko! We took them out for some magical dusk photos under the fairy lights and around some more of the grounds, had some fun with sparklers with the wedding party and finished off the night with some epic party shots.
I have just hit “order" after designing a beautiful wedding album for these two and it is not a wedding that I will forget, nor stop posting anytime soon!
