I can't believe I'm here writing another yearly round up. Seriously 2022, where did you go? It's been such a ride! From opening the doors to my brand new studio in Buckinghamshire, shooting at my favourite venues like Waddesdon Manor, Bourton Hall and Caswell House, and building lifelong friendships with the BEST clients a small business owner can only ever imagine.
I've welcomed what feels like hundreds of newborn babies through my studio doors, blossoming bumps and beautiful mamas, sitting angels and eager-to-smash-their-cake cake smashers! I've attended Photography retreats and education days, invested more than ever into my business and to build a client journey that clients will never forget.
Running your own business is challenging at the best of times, but when it's something like photography that captures such love and emotion, I pour my whole heart and soul into making that magic happen. It's not something you can learn over night. It takes years of learning, education, building self-confidence and believing in yourself. Every year I reflect on how far I've come, and it's really true when they say so much can happen in a year!
The plans I have in store for 2023 scare the be-jeezus out of me but if it doesn't scare you, then you are sitting too comfortably in your comfortable zone! Brides, Mamas and Photographers - watch this space!
